Sivak's Cass River Boat And Tube Rental

We had a great first experience with this family owned company yesterday. We were able to pretty much show up and get in the water. Almost all other kayak rental companies require a reservation to haul us and our kayaks. We called and they said to just show up and they'd take care of us. Boy did they. What an awesome family! Very knowledgeable about the waterway and gave helpful tips on where to paddle in rough spots. They were incredibly friendly and quick, we never stood around waiting, it was very convenient. Through no fault of their own the water levels were low, so we got stuck in a few spots. But the water is so crystal clear and the flow isn't so fast that you feel unsafe getting out to pull your kayak, it wasn't a trip ruined but I recommend waiting to go when the levels are higher. Very friendly and helpful owners and staff. We brought our own kayaks and were dropped off and picked with no problems. They have a nice set up and easy to find. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to spend the day on a relaxing float.
